Hope Dies Last


I rarely wear jeans and/or pants, especially the skinny type. My body is not built for it (I got thunder thighs and chicken legs). Skinnies make me look like a well-fed prostitute... and that's on a good day. On bad days, I simply look like a chunky sausage in an all-too-small casing.

However, I never really stopped from buying a pair or two every now and then. There are days when I feel like Kate Moss, you know? I'd happily squeeze me into my favorite skinnies, check myself in the mirror, decide I looked okay, take photos, look at the shots and realize that I am but a Hobbit. FML.

How about you? Is there an article of clothing that has endlessly frustrated you (but you don't intend to give up anyway)?

  2. I'm thinking if I have an answer to your question, and I think I don't have one (because I usually don't care?). I love the update on your about page, though, and I agree, you look better when you don't show your teeth when you smile. I could relate with the chubby cheeks part. :D

  5. Clap, clap! Here's to eternal hope. Those jeans look great. As for me, I'll never give up billowy blouses and skirts. That whole gypsy trend almost a decade ago nearly did me in. Short and fat can never go well with long and loose...

  7. I'm exactly the same way with jeans!! I have wider hips and a smaller waist so I feel like jeans don't fit my body shape well.

  9. You're absolutely gorgeous! And I can't wear long dresses because it makes me look like an oompa loompa in drag. It seriously does. So I completely understand what you're saying when you get these problems with your skinnies!

  12. Those boots are to die for! You look soooo pretty in jeans and tube top! :))) I don't wear jeans anymore though because I hate it when sticks to my skin and I'm too thin so I's look like a stick trying to walk. HAHAHA

  16. I have a corset that I have never worn yet, so yeah that's the piece of clothing I couldn't let go of. I think you rocked those skinnies cuz hey you got the ass. Skinnies make me look like an emancipated kid hahaha...

  21. What's so wrong about your legs?! You have curves, it's sexy! And I love your boots, but I guess I can't walk in them, I'm not so used in high heels..

    I have a big smile too, the kind of smile that shows off my gums, lol.. but I prefer that, because I look hideous in a pout..
